The ships have visited the islands Easter, Marquesas, Hawaiian, Sahashne, peninsula Kamchatka. Over time, the expedition headed south and through South America went out to the Pacific Ocean. During a prolonged stop to repair the ship Neva on the Brazilian coast, sailors saw that there were trafficking in slaves brought from Africa.

The voyage began in 1803 from the port of Kronstadt, which is located on the Baltic Sea.
